Stress Management Workshops

      Workshops include a tailored

mix of the following:

  • Mindfulness Exercises: Short, guided meditations/ yoga nidra. Practices may include visual imagery to help calm the mind and body.

  • Breathwork: Simple yet effective breathing exercises. Some exercises create balance within the nervous system, some help calm the body, while others energize and stimulate.

  • Information: Short talks explaining what stress is, how to reduce it, why these practices are effective and how the autonomic nervous system affects the body and mind. Creating a resilient attitude and how to increase mental clarity.

  • Yogic Movements: Short, guided movements aimed at releasing various emotions. Each movement is combined with the breath as well as with a specific intention.

Mindfulness + Journaling Workshops

Mindful Journaling

Workshops for Stress Relief:

  • In this workshop, we will explore various mindfulness techniques and learn how to apply them to a daily journaling practice, creating a powerful tool for stress reduction and personal growth. Participants will have the option to participate quietly or choose to share insights.

 

  • Learn how to manage stress, anxiety and negative thought loops by cultivating self-awareness through mindfulness exercises and writing prompts.

 

  • This workshop is perfect for anyone new to journaling as well as those who already have a personal practice. 

Chair Yoga Classes &
Workshops

    Types of Chair Yoga classes

& workshops available:

 

  • Chair Yoga for Desk Workers:

A sequence of adapted yoga poses that are done from a chair as well as in a standing position instead of on a yoga mat. These are simple stretches that can be done at any time in the office to quickly reduce stress. Also combines breathwork. Difficulty will vary depending on the group's physical abilities and needs. Short, guided meditations/ yoga nidra can be added as well as visual imagery to help calm the mind and body.

  • Chair Yoga for Seniors: 

A sequence of simple and easy yoga poses adapted to be done from a chair. No standing poses, less focused on stress and more on physical movements. All levels of physical ability are welcome.
